Volleyball Game Preview: Norwood Mavericks vs. Ouray Trojans + How To Watch

Norwood is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Ouray a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Norwood Mavericks will look to defend their home court against the Ouray Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Norwood lost 3-0 to Telluride on Tuesday.

While Norwood was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Ouray came up short against Dove Creek on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 16-25, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Ouray saw an underclassman step up: freshman Imogene Demuth had 25 digs. Those 25 digs set a new season-high mark for Demuth.

Norwood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Ouray, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Norwood suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Ouray in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Mavericks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
