It was a good run, but  Poplar Bluff unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost  12-2 to the Park Hill South Panthers. The Mules were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won  4-0.
 Poplar Bluff saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Myles Johnson, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  stolen base, one  double,  and one  RBI. That  double marked the first that  Johnson  hit this season.
Poplar Bluff's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Park Hill South, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poplar Bluff will welcome Brookland  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Park Hill South, they will take on Lee's Summit West at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
