Basketball Recap: Jerome Tigers vs. Mountain Home Tigers
Jerome had lost three straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 1-11 to make it four. They took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mountain Home. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Mountain Home since Tuesday.
As for Mountain Home, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-11. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Mountain Home's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Landon Keener led the charge by shooting 56% from the field to rack up 15 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Pedroza, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 14 points and four steals.
