Owatonna barely beat Mankato West the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huskies' defense stepped up to hand the Scarlets a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Owatonna, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Owatonna has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those six contests. As for Mankato West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6-3.
