Softball Recap: Garaway Pirates vs. Claymont Mustangs

Garaway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell just short of the Claymont Mustangs by a score of 7-5. Garaway was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Claymont apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played last Monday.

Isabelle Tetreault spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and five unearned) runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in nine consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Kalayah Glazer and Krista Miller stepped up to the plate in a big way. Glazer went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a double, while Miller scored a run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Jump, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with.
