Basketball Recap: Freeport Takes a Loss

Freeport lost against Rutherford back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Freeport Bulldogs had to suffer through a 73-32 loss at the hands of the Rutherford Rams. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Freeport dropped their record down to 7-13 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Rutherford, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Freeport won't have much time to rest: their next game is against South Walton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rutherford, they will face off against Mosley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
