Reardan waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Newport Grizzlies 86-30. Given the Screaming Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 340th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Reardan's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 92.3 points per game. As for Newport, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Reardan has already played their next match (against Northwest Christian School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Newport won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Colville at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Colville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine games.
