Soccer Recap: East Davidson Comes Up Short

East Davidson lost against West Davidson back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles fell 2-0 to the Dragons. While losing is never fun, East Davidson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 381st, while West Davidson are ranked 50th).

East Davidson dropped their record down to 3-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for West Davidson, the win keeps they at an undefeated 12-0.

Coming up, East Davidson will challenge Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Davidson, they will square off against Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
