Basketball Game Preview: United Golden Eagles vs. Beaver Local Beavers

The United Golden Eagles will face off against the Beaver Local Beavers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Beaver Local took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on United, who comes in off a win.

United is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Valley Christian 58-26. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 30 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Beaver Local was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 57-13 loss at the hands of Indian Creek. While losing is never fun, the Beavers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the Redskins are ranked 87th).

United has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.7 points. As for Beaver Local, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
