Baseball Game Preview: Greer Yellow Jackets vs. Woodmont Wildcats

The Greer Yellow Jackets will venture away from home to challenge the Woodmont Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Greer came out on top against Blue Ridge on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Yellow Jackets walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Fighting Tigers.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Woodmont, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Mauldin a 3-0 shutout on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Greer's record now sits at 11-7. As for Woodmont, their record is now 7-12.
