Baseball Game Preview: Pioneer Titans vs. Hesperia Christian Patriots

The Pioneer Titans are taking a road trip to square off against the Hesperia Christian Patriots at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Pioneer is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Pioneer is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Calvary Baptist with a sharp 6-0 win. Considering the Titans have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Hesperia Christian nor Big Bear made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Patriots came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bears, sneaking past 3-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Pioneer, their win bumped their record up to 14-12.
