Softball Recap: Otsego Wins Going Away Against Liberty Center

Otsego came out on top against Liberty Center on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Knights were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Otsego's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-5. As for Liberty Center, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8.

Coming up, Otsego will face off against Genoa Area at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Comets have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Liberty Center, they will square off against Fairview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
