Garden City lost against Sands back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bearkats were outmatched by the Mustangs and fell 58-8. The Bearkats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-8.

Garden City now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Sands, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Garden City will square off against Irion County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sands, they will challenge Loraine at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
