Football Recap: Crosby Piles Up the Points Against Pasadena + How To Watch

Crosby was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Pasadena on Friday. The Cougars claimed a resounding 69-6 win over the Eagles. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Cougars' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while the Eagles are ranked 1027th).

Lott Robison had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 215 yards and five TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (157.9). Nehemiah Jordan did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 38 receiving yards.

Another reason for the win was Crosby's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Cade Wainwright was especially locked on to Pasadena's QB and sacked him twice. Crosby received some extra help from Sirr Soileau, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Crosby's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Pasadena, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Crosby is taking a road trip to take on Friendswood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pasadena, they will host Angleton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
