Basketball Recap: Anna Gets the Win

Anna won the last time they faced McKinney North, and Karson Jones did his part to make sure it happened again. The Anna Coyotes came out on top against the McKinney North Bulldogs by a score of 58-45 on Tuesday thanks in part to Jones, who went 8-for-12 en route to 18 points in addition to five assists and five steals. What's more, he also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in December of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Lamin Foon, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 12 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games he's played.

Anna's victory bumped their record up to 12-21. As for McKinney North, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-17.
