If Pacifica Christian was riding high fresh off their 66-18 takedown of Western Christian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pacifica Christian Tritons took a 60-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairmont Prep Huskies. The Tritons' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Several Tritons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hudson Reynolds, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 15 points and six boards. Reynolds is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Joaquin Rigdon, who went 5 of 10 en route to 12 points and three steals.

Pacifica Christian's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 14-7. As for Fairmont Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Pacifica Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-50 victory against Victory Christian Academy on the 20th. As for Fairmont Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-61 win against Diamond Bar on the 20th.
