Godwin Heights proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 30) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They pulled ahead with a 31-30 photo finish over the Fruitport Trojans. The victory was nothing new for the Wolverines as they're now sitting on five straight.

Godwin Heights' win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Fruitport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Godwin Heights will challenge rival Kelloggsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fruitport is set to take on their familiar foe Holland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
