Basketball Recap: Onaway Takes a Loss

If Onaway was riding high fresh off their 65-44 takedown of Wolverine last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Onaway Cardinals took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rogers City Hurons on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Hurons: they've now lost three in a row.

Onaway's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Rogers City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

Onaway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rogers City, they will take on Hillman in a tournament on Friday. Hillman is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.2 points per game this season.
