Northridge had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 25-24 win over the East Knox Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted since August 23, 2024.

Brayden Bingham was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 198 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northridge will head out to square off against Fredericktown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Knox, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Wynford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
