After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gulf Coast, Community School of Naples was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Port Charlotte Pirates. The win continues a trend for the Seahawks in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won five in a row.

The victory didn't come easy: Port Charlotte scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-21.

Claire Byerly was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 20 digs and two assists.

Community School of Naples picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Port Charlotte, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Community School of Naples has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Imagine School at North Port on the 8th. As for Port Charlotte, they will venture away from home to face off against Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
