Basketball Recap: Southwest Georgia STEM Charter Comes Up Short

Southwest Georgia STEM Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a blow against the Schley County Wildcats, falling 65-26.

Schley County was led to victory by Caleb Renfroe and Jayden Monford. Renfroe posted 12 points, while Monford had 12 points. Those 12 points gave Renfroe a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tate Dominy, who put up nine points.

Southwest Georgia STEM Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Schley County, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-15.

Southwest Georgia STEM Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Schley County, they will challenge Marion County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Schley County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.3 points per game this season.
