Volleyball Game Preview: Canal Winchester Indians vs. Lancaster Golden Gales

Canal Winchester hasn't had much luck against Lancaster recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Indians will venture away from home to challenge the Golden Gales at 6:45 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Thursday, Canal Winchester came up short against Logan and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 17-25, 25-15.

Lancaster had taken Reynoldsburg down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Golden Gales fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-2.

Lancaster took Reynoldsburg into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 22-25, 25-19, 15-13.

Canal Winchester will have to contain Zoe DeLeon as she made an impact in Lancaster's last game. She had 22 digs and three aces. Caralina Crowell also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Lancaster's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Canal Winchester, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.
