While Camarillo's victory against Highland wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Scorpions narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bulldogs 2-1. The two-run effort marked the Scorpions' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory made it two in a row for Camarillo and bumps their season record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camarillo will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sierra Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on the 10th. As for Highland, they will take on Paraclete at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
