Baseball Recap: York County Tech Triumphs

York County Tech won the last time they faced Milton Hershey and things went their way on Monday too. York County Tech came out on top against Milton Hershey by a score of 9-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for York County Tech.

Jensen Crone looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Natziel Roman was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases and two runs. York County Tech is undefeated when Roman posts two or more runs, but 4-12 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Patrick Collins, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

York County Tech's record now sits at 7-12. As for Milton Hershey, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, York County Tech will take on Shalom Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Milton Hershey, they have already played their next matchup, a 14-1 defeat against East Pennsboro on the 5th.
