Baseball Recap: Timberline Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Timberline was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They lost 9-2 to the Middleton Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolves have suffered since March 11, 2024.

Timberline saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Messerschmitt, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI.

Timberline's defeat was their tenth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Middleton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Timberline has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Mountain View on the 11th. As for Middleton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-1 victory against Boise on the 11th.
