Softball Recap: Columbia Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Columbia unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 19-2 to the Gates County Red Barons on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.

Gates County now has a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Columbia and Gates County will both be playing Bear Grass Charter the next time they take the field. Gates County will host Bear Grass Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Columbia will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th.
