Bolivar had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They secured a 52-46 W over the Greenwood Blue Jays. While the Liberators didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Bolivar's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2. As for Greenwood, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-4.

Bolivar wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-49 defeat against Republic on the 30th. As for Greenwood, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mansfield at 6:00 p.m. on January 10th.
