Recap: Contreras Cobras vs. Roybal Titans
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bernstein, The Contreras Cobras were happy to have found some success on Friday. They skirted past Roybal 22-19. For Contreras, this counts as revenge for the 34-14 defeat Roybal walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.
Contreras' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Marlon Martinez led the charge by rushing for 80 yards and three touchdowns. Cody Nunez and his 92 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Contreras' win.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Max Ibarra, who threw for 122 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes.
Contreras has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Roybal, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
Contreras does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Roybal also has no future games currently scheduled.
