Laikyn Davenport, Animas's leader in assists on the season, led the team again on Tuesday. Davenport showed up in a big way, putting up 17 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Thanks to that strong showing, she's now averaging 2.2 steals per game. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Animas' points.

Davenport's strong effort led Animas over Cobre and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
