Soccer Recap: Nettleton Comes Up Short

Nettleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-1 to the Batesville Pioneers. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Nettleton struggled afterwards.

Their goal came courtesy of Frankel Marti, which was the first he's scored this season.

Nettleton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-2. As for Batesville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-1-3.

Nettleton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Batesville, they will face off against Paragould at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
