Baseball Recap: Spain Park Falls Short Against Ranked Clarksville Academy

Spain Park is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Clarksville Academy. Spain Park fell just short of Clarksville Academy by a score of 5-4. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spain Park's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Clarksville Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Spain Park Jaguars face off against Pelham Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clarksville Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Fairview on the 29th.
