Soccer Recap: Enterprise Comes Up Short

Enterprise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Red Bluff Spartans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in January.

Enterprise's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Red Bluff, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enterprise will host Pleasant Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pleasant Valley's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Enterprise's offense will have their work cut out for them. Red Bluff has already played their next match (against Chico), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
