Softball Recap: Randolph-Henry Statesmen vs. Buckingham Knights

Randolph-Henry won against Tunstall last Friday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Randolph-Henry Statesmen came out on top against the Buckingham Knights by a score of 5-2. The win was familiar territory for Randolph-Henry who now have five in a row.

Danner Allen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). Allen has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings every time she's pitched this season. Allen was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.
