Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for North Sevier

North Sevier had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 61-54 victory over the Maeser Prep Academy Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

North Sevier had a senior duo take command as Brody Bulloch went 10-for-21 on his way to 24 points and three steals and Kade Johnson shot 42% from the field en route to 17 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for Bulloch. Koy Wasden was another key player, putting up four points and three steals.

North Sevier smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in nine consecutive contests dating back to last season.

North Sevier's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Maeser Prep Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Looking ahead, North Sevier will take on Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Maeser Prep Academy has already played their next game (against Draper APA), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
