Richland posted their closest victory since October 31, 2024 on Thursday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 15-14 win over the Kamiakin Braves. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bombers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Micah Mayer was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 94 yards and two scores.

Richland didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Hayden Galloway led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.

Richland's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28 points. As for Kamiakin, they moved to 7-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richland will host Mount Si at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. As for Kamiakin, they will face off against Lewis & Clark at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
