Volleyball Game Preview: Battle Mountain Longhorns vs. North Tahoe Lakers

Battle Mountain is 1-9 against North Tahoe since October of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Longhorns will challenge the Lakers at 1:45 p.m. Battle Mountain is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Battle Mountain is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Coral Academy of Science - Reno.

North Tahoe won the last time they faced Silver Stage and Marlo Johnson did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lakers blew past the Nighthawks 3-0 on Saturday thanks in part to Johnson, who had 11 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-6.

Battle Mountain's record is now 20-10. As for North Tahoe, their record now sits at 18-5.
