Softball Game Preview: Logan Longhorns vs. Santa Rosa Lions

Logan is 1-9 against Santa Rosa since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Longhorns will be playing at home against the Lions at 3:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Logan is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They came up short against Clayton, falling 21-10.

Meanwhile, Santa Rosa lost 18-7 to Mora on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Rangers/Rangerettes: they've now lost four in a row.

Jadyn Chavez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Gianna Campos, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2.

Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Santa Rosa, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
