Soccer Game Preview: Basehor-Linwood vs. West

The Basehor-Linwood Bobcats will head out on the road to challenge the West Chargers on Tuesday. Basehor-Linwood's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Basehor-Linwood was handed a eight-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They never let Lansing get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Basehor-Linwood as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, West can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against Junction City/St. Xavier by a score of 2-0.

The win got West back to even at 3-3-2. As for Basehor-Linwood, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Basehor-Linwood took their win against West in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
