Football Game Preview: Belleville Tigers vs. Woodhaven Warriors + How To Watch

The Belleville Tigers will welcome the Woodhaven Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Belleville is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Howell just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Highlanders, falling 57-36. Despite 106 more yards than the Highlanders, the Tigers couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Belleville might have lost, but man, Kendall Franklin was a machine: he threw for 306 yards and five TDs. 111 of those passing yards were hauled in by Geonte Morris, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Meanwhile, Woodhaven was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 32-28 to Taylor. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Warriors came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Griffins are ranked 300th).

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 7-2. As for Woodhaven, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 7-2.

Everything came up roses for Belleville against Woodhaven in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, as the squad secured a 48-0 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
