Volleyball Recap: Cicero Prep Academy's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cicero Prep Academy proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the BASIS Phoenix Firebirds 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Centurions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Cicero Prep Academy was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 0-25, 15-0.

Cicero Prep Academy pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for BASIS Phoenix, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cicero Prep Academy will take on The Gregory School at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for BASIS Phoenix, they will challenge Seton Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Sentinels will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Firebirds surely won't give up without a fight.
