Basketball Recap: Rockford FIRE HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Rockford FIRE HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell to the Lake Country Classical Academy Sentinels 72-68.

Lake Country Classical Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jude Kolstad, who posted 22 points in addition to eight steals and five assists. Kolstad is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ryan Low, who had 22 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Rockford FIRE HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lake Country Classical Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Rockford FIRE HomeSchool wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-44 defeat against Christian Life on the 9th. As for Lake Country Classical Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Milwaukee Arts at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th.
