Soccer Game Preview: Yuma vs. Kofa

Yuma is 0-10 against Kofa since December of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Yuma Criminals will head out on the road to square off against the Kofa Kings at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Yuma is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Cibola, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, Kofa fell victim to Gila Ridge and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 4-0 to the Hawks. The defeat continues a trend for the Kings in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now lost three in a row.

Kofa now has a losing record at 3-4-2. As for Yuma, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Yuma suffered a grim 9-1 defeat to Kofa in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Yuma avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
