Mojave is 0-3 against Desert Oasis since April of 2024 but things could change on Thursday. The Rattlers will be playing at home against the Diamondbacks at 3:30 p.m. Mojave is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
Mojave will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Las Vegas on Tuesday. The Rattlers were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Wildcats. The Rattlers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Emiko-Lin Kalani made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Kalani was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Kaylinn Bentley was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jadin Broadnax, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
Mojave always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Las Vegas only posted an OBP of .367.
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Desert Oasis and Liberty, and Liberty kept the tradition alive. The Diamondbacks came up short against the Patriots on Wednesday, falling 11-3. The Diamondbacks haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Desert Oasis saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Veyda Simon, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Desert Oasis' loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Mojave, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
Mojave's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's match. The Rattlers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.7 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Desert Oasis, though, as they've been averaging only 0.9 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Mojave continue to outrun the ball?
