Basketball Game Preview: Trimble County Raiders vs. Gallatin County Wildcats

The Trimble County Raiders will take on the Gallatin County Wildcats in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Trimble County has three straight victories, Gallatin County has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Trimble County had just enough and edged Eminence out 44-41.

Meanwhile, Gallatin County suffered their biggest defeat since January 26th on Tuesday. They lost 53-30 to Owen County. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Gallatin County now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Trimble County, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

Trimble County came out on top in a nail-biter against Gallatin County when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 45-43. Does Trimble County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gallatin County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
