Fillmore's Tyler Esquivel recorded the longest rushing play in Frontier this season in his game against Santa Clara last week. Esquivel ran for 89 yards on the play and finished with 133 on the day as his team bested the Saints.
Fillmore moved up to 470 from 537 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Matt Dollar's team climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Santa Clara 48-14.
Hayden Wright was a passing and rushing force as the Flashes topped Tony Leckie's team.
Wright was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 198 yards on 15 carries as Fillmore lost to Grace Brethren. Teammate Esquivel added to the ground attack by rushing for 133 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback Sam Roberts of the Saints is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,137. He has also thrown 17 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Miller. The Malibu star has 45 catches for 504 yards.
The Flashes added to the longest winning streak in Frontier this week by beating Santa Clara, 48-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
