It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Orangeburg Prep had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won eight games in a row.

Orangeburg Prep pushed their record up to 25-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games.
