Moundridge put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They slipped by the Holcomb Longhorns 46-45. The 46-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Moundridge pushed their record up to 11-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Holcomb, their loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-3.

Moundridge and Holcomb should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. Moundridge will take on Garden Plain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 175 places (8 vs. 183). Meanwhile, Holcomb (ranked 14th) will meet Hugoton (ranked 125th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
