Recap: Sneads Pirates vs. Liberty County Bulldogs
The Sneads Pirates's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 47-33 bruising from Liberty County. Sneads has not had much luck with Liberty County recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Liberty County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleigh Peddie out in front who scored 16 points. The matchup was Peddie's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriella Flowers, who scored 14 points.
Sneads bumped their record down to 3-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Liberty County, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
Sneads' homestand continues as they prepare to take on Wewahitchka at 5:00 p.m. on January 9th. As for Liberty County, they will head out on the road to face off against Port St. Joe at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Port St. Joe is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
