Baseball Game Preview: Littlestown Thunderbolts vs. West York Area Bulldogs

The Littlestown Thunderbolts will head out to challenge the West York Area Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Littlestown's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so West York Area's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Littlestown came out on top against Delone Catholic on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Thunderbolts put the hurt on the Squires with a sharp 7-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Thunderbolts in their matchups with the Squires: they've now won four in a row.

Connor Dillon made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Littlestown: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-7-1 otherwise.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lucas Bacher, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and one RBI. Jackson Bacher was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.
