Basketball Recap: Montevideo Extends Road Winning Streak to 14

Montevideo had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.8 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They blew past the Pelican Rapids Vikings 82-59. The Thunderhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.

Montevideo pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.6 points over those games. As for Pelican Rapids, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-5.
